The newest generation drone, M Series Mk.3 Prototype 1 is centered around modular 3D-printed sub-assemblies enabling near-infinite upgradability. This greatly expedites the development of each module, allowing for drastic design change without disrupting or adjacent components.
Differing capacities of power pods enable the drone to adopt varying propulsion systems. In conjunction, the wings clip onto the core. Control surfaces on the wings are animated by servo motors in the center fuselage.
Also shown, the flight computer in the nose of the aircraft ingests information from the receiver, all the while interpreting data from an absolute orientation sensor to assist in the control of the drone. This can be expanded through high-precision GPS and an app currently under-development. Trough the app, users would be able to define parameters for autonomous functions such as
“return to home” or way-point travel.
