A brand new digital preservation of a 16mm readymade film, with radio collage mix from cassette tape. Originally realized in 1998, as an ‘event-based’ work, with a handful of screenings over the years and always in double system. In the early 2000’s this film screened numerous times as awareness was raised about Colony Collapse Disorder, that mysterious and sudden depletion of our hardworking honeybees.
Made at CU Boulder’s Film Preservation Lab, and effectively creating a single system film experience for your imaginative education. Special thanks to Andy Busti, Laura Conway and Emily Van Loan at CU Boulder Cinema Studies and Moving Image Arts -JmL 2020
