brickini turns regular geometry into LEGO sculptures.
My goal for this tool was to give my algorithm some clever building techniques logic and to support a lot of different sloped bricks which are key to get good looking environment/landscape dioramas.
Credit for the bricks itself goes to Mecabricks! The best LEGO CAD editor out there 🙂
Features:
-sculptures are generated as one would build it in reality
-largest bricks where possible, but varying rotations to get interlocking
-short and high slopes for steep and long slopes for gentle elevations
-regular bricks and bricks + slopes switch
-24 brick types supported: single width, double width, all slope lengths, heights and inverted variants.
-hollow and solid switch
-color support from incoming geometry
-imperfect alignment controls
-decoloring controls
I already have a lot of ideas for more features, I hope I find some more time soon.
The renderings were made with redshift. If you want to find out more about my materials have a look here:
