I’ve known about this site for years. Its a cool place to check out Nikon serial numbers, Nikon models. Years of Nikon Products and the history of it all.
I use this site often when I buy used and I want to see where the serial number falls under production. If the Nikon Product was produced early in production or towards the end. Tons of valuable information here about Nikon Cameras and lenses so check it out.
Shout out to Roland who over the years with the help of many photographers and users of Nikons and Nikkors generated the data we see on that website.
