June 29, 2020, Sao Paulo, Brazil: The mayor of the city of Sao Paulo officially closed the activities of the Pacaembu Field Hospital, the first set up to care for the victims of the COVID-19. According to the city, the bed occupancy rate below 50% justifies the closure of the hospital, which cost about US $4 million and treated 1,500 patients during the 83 days of operation.
