In September, the IRS will mail stimulus payments to people whose initial payment was diverted to pay past-due child support. The IRS is working to correct a number of mistakes that were found during the first round of stimulus payments delivery. In early to mid-September, the department will begin issuing the revised payments. The agency does not yet have a timeline as to when they can expect to collect their payment. The stimulus payments will be shipped in physical check form and will be mailed in September.
